Rush has been away from AEW television for a couple of months, but the former ROH World Champion says fans won’t have to wait much longer to see him back. The Toro Blanco has now given a pretty direct timeline for his return, saying he expects to be back in action within the next few weeks.
During a live stream on his YouTube channel, Rush was answering questions from fans when one viewer asked whether they would be seeing him back in AEW soon. Rush explained that his last appearance came around two months ago when he was involved in the World Championship picture before admitting he doesn’t have an exact return date yet. Rush then made it clear that his absence shouldn’t last much longer, saying he expects to be back within only a few weeks.
“The last time was about two months ago, when I was there for the World Championship. Right now, I don’t know exactly when we’ll be back. It won’t be long. In just a few weeks, we’re going to be back.”

“When are you going to return to AEW? Hopefully soon, brother. In the meantime, we’re still here preparing in the gym. Here we are.”
Rush didn’t reveal exactly what AEW has planned for him when he returns, but his comments make it sound like his time away from television is getting close to ending. If his timeline holds up, fans could be seeing the Toro Blanco back inside an AEW ring before much longer.
