Indie wrestler Robert Martyr is dealing with another serious situation—but this time, it’s not about going missing. It’s about being robbed in Las Vegas.

After previously getting fans worried in September 2025 when he went missing following a troubling post—before later confirming he was safe—Martyr has now shared a new update that’s raising concern for a completely different reason.

The independent wrestler took to Twitter on April 17 and revealed that he was the victim of a theft during a trip to Las Vegas, claiming thousands of dollars worth of belongings are now gone. In his statement, Martyr explained how the situation started at a local event, where he trusted venue staff to hold onto his bag. He then detailed how he attended WrestleLITLive at Substance LV and asked a staff member to keep his bag while he relaxed—only for it to later go missing.

“2,500 worth of belongs stolen. I attended @WrestleLITLive at the @substancelv. I asked a staff member if they could hold my bag as I didn’t want to carry it around as I just came from a show and just wanted to chill. They said they’d hold onto it, later in the night I asked if I could have my bag back and they said they couldn’t find it.”

According to Martyr, the situation got even stranger the next day when his AirTag showed the bag was no longer at the venue—and was actively moving around Las Vegas. He said he eventually tracked the bag down, only to find it in the possession of a homeless man, leading to a tense confrontation.

“The next day I get a notification from my air tag that my bag wasn’t at the substance anymore. But ACTIVELY traveling in Vegas. After hunting it down, it was in possession of a homeless man who when I confronted tried to attack me.”

Martyr claimed he was able to recover some identification, but the majority of his belongings were already gone. He added that the man told him he had received the bag from someone else. Martyr made it clear just how much he lost in the incident, including essential wrestling gear and the money he earned over the weekend.

“After dealing with him i forced him to give me my ID cards and I made him walk me to where he dumped my stuff, only my AirPods and a shirt was left. He said he got my bag from someone else. ALL of my gear, including my boots & tights made in Japan is gone. Including all of my clothes & all of the money I made this weekend.”

He also directly blamed the venue for how the situation unfolded, claiming his belongings were left outside. The situation left him shaken, both financially and emotionally.

“This is the fault of the substance for putting my clothes OUTSIDE THE VENUE. I’m f***** and shattered.”

This comes months after his September 2025 scare, where a concerning message led to a search effort before he was later confirmed safe. Now, instead of a missing person case, Martyr is dealing with the fallout of a theft that has cost him both his gear and his earnings.

In the end, Robert Martyr made it through a terrifying situation last year, but now he’s facing a different kind of setback. Losing his gear, money, and essentials in one night could have serious consequences for an independent wrestler trying to stay active on the road.

What do you think about Robert Martyr’s situation—should the venue be held responsible, or is this just an unfortunate situation? Let us know your thoughts.
