Impact Wrestling have been putting up consistently good shows of late. The promotion wrapped up the weekend with the Sacrifice pay-per-view (PPV) event, which saw Moose retain his world title against Heath.
The Impact World Championship will once again be contested as Impact Wrestling brings its annual Rebellion PPV to Majed J. Nesheiwat Convention Center on April 23 in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Former World Champion Josh Alexander, who recently resigned with the promotion, stormed to the ring during the latest Impact tapings to challenge Moose for the title.
“Moose’s reign will come to a brutal end on April 23 at Rebellion,” a fired-up Alexander said while standing over the fallen champion. “There are no more roadblocks between me and getting my hands on him.”
Alexander lost the title to Moose last October at the company’s Bound for Glory PPV event. Moose laid out a distracted Alexander with a spear and pinned him to win the world title.
