The Hardys are being given massive credit for the momentum surrounding TNA Wrestling since returning to the company in 2025.

During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Brian Myers made it clear just how much he believes Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy have meant to TNA during their current run. Myers called the legendary brothers the greatest tag team of all time and said their presence has played a major role in the company’s recent resurgence.

“They’ve saved TNA wrestling, and you know, I mean, they’re the best, so I’m so privileged to work with them as much as I do, man. They just rule. They really are the goats, you know, like they say they are.”

Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to TNA in February 2025 after their AEW contracts came to an end, immediately becoming two of the most recognizable names on the roster. Their return gave TNA another established attraction with decades of history attached to them, while also allowing the brothers to continue building their legacy together.

Myers also reflected on just how powerful the Hardys’ connection with a live crowd has been throughout their career, specifically bringing up their unforgettable return at WrestleMania 33. The brothers shocked everyone by entering the Raw Tag Team Championship ladder match one night after competing for Ring of Honor, creating one of the loudest reactions Myers has personally experienced.

“I always said the Hardys’ return at Mania, and Nick’s cash in, are the two loudest pops I’ve ever heard at a show. In my opinion, in my career. That would have been earth-shattering if that stadium had a roof.”

Myers said the circumstances surrounding that return only made the moment feel even bigger, since Matt and Jeff kept their WWE comeback under wraps after wrestling elsewhere the night before.

“That one was also so epic, because they wrestled the ladder match the night before for Ring of Honor, and just kayfabe, and everybody. So cool. They rule.”

The Hardys have spent years proving they can still command major attention wherever they go, and Myers believes their latest TNA chapter has been bigger than simply adding another tag team to the roster. In his view, Matt and Jeff Hardy have helped give the company an entirely different level of energy during a key stretch in its history.
