Grayson Waller didn’t wait until Tuesday to respond to Zilla Fatu ruining his shot at the NXT Championship. He went nuclear at an NXT live event instead—telling Fatu to “acknowledge deez nuts” before suggesting he go to RAW and carry Jacob Fatu’s bags.

During the August 15 NXT live event in Petersburg, Waller grabbed the microphone and went directly after the man who cost him his #1 contender’s match just four days earlier. There was only one problem: Zilla wasn’t there. Waller immediately used that against him, taking a shot at Fatu’s famous wrestling family by calling him a “Nepo Uce.”

“Hey, Zilla, I was hoping to say this to your face. But I guess the benefit of being a Nepo Uce is you don’t have to turn up all the time. But I will be there Tuesday night, and I have a lot to say to you.”

Waller then gave Fatu some advice ahead of the next episode of NXT: Don’t show up. He warned that Zilla’s family connections wouldn’t help him once they were standing across from each other, specifically calling out the seemingly endless list of relatives surrounding the Fatu family.

“But I’m gonna give you an opportunity. If I were you, I wouldn’t turn up. Because if you keep turning up on Tuesdays in my house, you will be on your own. No brothers, sisters, cousins, or uncles are gonna save you from Grayson Waller taking you to deeper waters and drowning you.”

Then Waller really went for it. He mocked Zilla’s demand to be acknowledged before telling him exactly where he thinks he belongs—and it isn’t NXT.

“So you know what you can do, Sheriff? You can acknowledge deez nuts, lad. Skip Tuesdays. Go to Monday Night Raw and carry Jacob’s bags like you were born to do.”

Waller has a pretty obvious reason to be this angry. During the August 11 edition of NXT, Waller was battling Cruz Montana in a #1 contender’s match for Tony D’Angelo’s NXT Championship when Zilla suddenly entered the ring and hit Montana with a Samoan Drop, forcing the match to end in a no contest.

Zilla wasn’t finished there. He dropped Waller with a Superman Punch, hit Montana with a Frog Splash and then came off the top with an Uso Splash on Waller before staring down D’Angelo and making his own intentions toward the NXT Championship pretty obvious.

Four days later, Waller has his answer ready. Zilla Fatu wanted to blow up Waller’s championship opportunity and put himself into the title picture. Now Waller is promising to be waiting for him Tuesday night—and apparently thinks Zilla would be better off carrying Jacob Fatu’s luggage on RAW than coming back to NXT.

What do you make of Grayson Waller’s brutal shot at Zilla Fatu? Do you think Zilla will make him regret it when they meet again on NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
