Gia Miller was hoping to be back with TNA for Bound for Glory, but things unfortunately took another turn just hours before the company’s biggest show of the year.

On October 11, Miller took to Twitter to reveal that although she had made it to Tampa for the pay-per-view, her health suddenly worsened overnight. As a result, she made the difficult decision to head back home instead of working the event.

“Well, I made it to Tampa only for my health to nose dive overnight. I’m going to have to go home, regroup, and get well. I’m devastated to be missing BFG. To my TNA family, I love and miss you all, stay safe, and have a great show tonight❤️”

It’s an especially tough setback considering Miller recently said she was feeling much better after a difficult stretch that included two emergency room visits and two minor surgeries. At the time, she told fans she was almost back to 100 percent, making it seem like she’d be ready to return for TNA’s biggest event of the year.

Unfortunately, those plans didn’t work out. Instead of covering Bound for Glory backstage, Gia Miller will now focus on getting healthy before making her return whenever she’s medically cleared to do so.

Hopefully this latest setback is only temporary, and Miller can make a full recovery without having to rush back before she’s ready. Missing Bound for Glory is clearly disappointing for her, but getting healthy has to come first.
