GCW owner Brett Lauderdale just popped up in a place nobody expected to see him, and JCW made sure the cameras caught every second of it.
During the closing segment of the August 13 episode of JCW Lunacy, Lauderdale was shown leaving Vince Russo’s office alongside Nick Gage. Russo walked out with Lauderdale and extended his hand before the two shook hands, immediately raising questions about exactly what had just gone down behind that closed door.
There was no explanation for the meeting and nobody revealed what Lauderdale, Russo and Gage had been discussing. JCW simply showed the interaction and let the visual do the talking.
That makes it especially hard to ignore. Lauderdale showing up with Gage is one thing, but having him walk directly out of Russo’s office before shaking hands with him certainly looked like something JCW wanted viewers to notice.
Whether this leads to GCW becoming involved with JCW, a future appearance from Lauderdale and Gage, or something completely different remains to be seen. Nothing was officially announced during the segment, so anything beyond what was shown would be speculation.
