Gail Kim has another message for the people coming after her online: she’s not taking the bait.

The wrestling veteran found herself dealing with an angry social media rant after a Twitter user unloaded on her over her recent comments about TNA, accusing her of constantly attacking the company before taking things a step further with a personal insult.

The fan claimed Kim owed her legacy to TNA after WWE released her the first time, questioned why she was “so bitter,” mocked her support of Sean Ross Sapp, and eventually ended the tirade by writing, “Maybe you’re racist ass should f***off.”

“A miserable bitter old rat calling some one else miserable is hysterical you’re whole identity is sh******on tna when without them you’d of never been remembered after WWE fired you the first time. Why are you so bitter that you shot on the business every chance you get?

I can’t take anyone that defends Sean Ross sapp seriously. I respect you’re contributions to tna but the fact that you think you’re the best woman’s wrestler ever and spend you’re whole life shitting on the company that gave you a platform is hypocritical.

Maybe you’re racist ass should f*** off.”

Kim could have fired back point by point. She didn’t. Instead, she took to Twitter and shut the whole thing down with a single Mariah Carey reference.

“In the words of Mariah Carey…. Why you so obsessed with me? 🎶🎶”

The exchange comes as Kim has found herself back in the conversation over the past week after opening up about her time in TNA. What started as a conversation about Dark Side of the Ring’s TNA episode leaving her name out of its discussion of the Knockouts division quickly turned into something much bigger.

Kim claimed that after finally negotiating the contract she wanted, TNA unexpectedly changed the agreement from a guaranteed salary to a pay-per-show deal while John Gaburick was running the company. According to Kim, she had little leverage to fight the decision because WWE was the only other major option at the time.

Those comments led to plenty of debate among wrestling fans, and at least one critic decided to make things personal. Kim, however, made it clear she wasn’t interested in turning the whole thing into another online argument. Sometimes, one Mariah Carey lyric says everything that needs to be said.

What did you make of Gail Kim’s response? Was it the perfect comeback, or would you have handled the situation differently?
