Kaylia Capri was supposed to be in the ring Saturday night, but a car accident ruined those plans. The former WWE star revealed she was injured in the crash and had no choice but to miss her scheduled wrestling appearance.

Capri, who went by Alexis Gray during her WWE run, was booked for Reality of Wrestling’s Sherri Martel Classic in Texas City, Texas, on October 24. Instead of competing, she ended up dealing with injuries from a car accident that happened the same day.

On October 25, Capri took to Twitter to explain what happened and apologize to fans who were expecting to see her. She confirmed that her injuries were minor, but admitted she was heartbroken over missing the show.

“To all my fans who came out to support me @TheOfficialROW irl & via YT Yesterday I literally am so sorry. I got into a car accident yesterday. I’m suffering minor injuries but I won’t sit and act like I’m not heart broken.”

Capri didn’t explain what caused the crash or how serious the damage was. She also didn’t say whether she needed hospital treatment or how long she might be out of the ring.

The former WWE talent has been working the independent wrestling scene since her September 2023 WWE release, and she’s been building her career outside the company. Saturday’s Sherri Martel Classic was another opportunity for her to get in front of fans, but the accident put a stop to that.

For now, Capri hasn’t announced when she’ll wrestle again. She’s dealing with minor injuries and a missed booking, but at least she was able to walk away from the accident and let everyone know what happened.

Do you think Kaylia Capri should take some time off before returning to the ring, or get back to wrestling once she’s cleared? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
