Former Joe Gacy is already heading back to the ring after WWE released The Wyatt Sicks earlier this year.
Now going by the name Joseph Sawyer, the former WWE star has announced his first post-WWE appearance following the group’s release shortly after WrestleMania 42. Sawyer is scheduled to appear for Pro Wrestling Junkie on September 20 in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. As of now, this is the firs match publicly announced for the former Wyatt Sicks member since leaving WWE.
The release of The Wyatt Sicks shocked a lot of fans considering WWE had heavily pushed the group following their debut. The faction included Bo Dallas, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, and Gacy himself. The group has since started rebranding under new names for appearances outside WWE.
Bo Dallas is now using Taylor Rotunda, Nikki Cross returned to Nikki Storm, Erick Rowan is once again Erick Redbeard, Dexter Lumis reverted back to Samuel Shaw, and Joe Gacy is now Joseph Sawyer.
So far, the other former Wyatt Sicks members still haven’t revealed any official in-ring return plans yet.
Do you think The Wyatt Sicks members should reunite outside WWE, or are they better off starting fresh separately? Leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
