Former WCW wrestler Johnny Rich was hospitalized earlier this week after being involved in a car accident while driving his truck.
PWInsider reports that Rich has since been released from the hospital, although the 67-year-old is still banged up following the crash. Additional details about the accident and the extent of his injuries were not disclosed.
Rich wrestled for WCW and worked across several major territories during his career, including Mid-South Wrestling and Continental Championship Wrestling. He also competed in Memphis under the name Roy Rogers.
The accident has forced Rich to pull out of The Gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was scheduled to make his first-ever convention appearance alongside his cousin, former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Rich.
The good news is that Rich is back home after the accident, but he will now need time to recover before making any public appearances.
