Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho has taken on many guises during his career, but for all the roles he has played, we have never seen him in a position of power. While I couldn’t tell you how likely this is because keeping up with Jericho’s Fozzy schedule is damn near impossible these days, seeing Jericho as the commissioner of Smackdown would be pretty damn awesome.

Jericho and Owens have a storied past and have had one of the best feuds of the year so far, even if the matches themselves didn’t necessarily pay off. If Owens beats Shane at Hell in a Cell, the Prize Fighter would no doubt come out on the next episode of Smackdown, running his mouth about how the blue brand is now The Kevin Owens Show and how everyone on the brand must answer to him.

This would be the perfect opportunity for Jericho to return. While his reappearances are so frequent these days, that they really aren’t that much of a surprise anymore, he still gets a pop whenever he does come back and this, if executed well, could definitely be one of the more memorable ones.

As I’ve mentioned, the appointment would likely be temporary as well, so Jericho would probably be the perfect option in that respect as fans are more than accustomed to him returning, only to leave a month or so later these days.
