3: Charlotte Flair Cashes In
Talking of the SmackDown women’s title, my money would be on a rematch taking place between Charlotte and Asuka at this year’s SummerSlam, and if that is the case, the WWE will want to start planting those seeds in the coming weeks.
Charlotte is the only women in the WWE to have defeated Asuka, and they will no doubt lean heavily on that if the two women are to meet again this Summer.
Charlotte has to be seen as one of the favourites to win Money in the Bank this year, and if she does, there is every chance she could cash in at the show itself.
The WWE waited forever for Carmella to cash her briefcase in, and I expect the total opposite to happen this year. This could go down one of two ways- Charlotte could either join the match, returning the favour to Carmella and cashing in on her, or she could cash in on Asuka after the match, becoming the first women to not only defeat Asuka, but to do it twice.
Of course, the latter option would be a heelish move, and having her cash in on Carmella would make a lot more sense. Either way, an instant cash-in from the winner would be quite the surprise.
