1: Big E Wins the briefcase
The New Day are still yet to announce which member will be entering this year’s Money in the Bank contest, but smart money would be on Big E.
The former Intercontinental Champion has been rumoured to be in line for a push over the last few months, and if that is the case, the WWE could set those wheels in motion at Money in the Bank.
Most fans are predicting that The Miz will walk away from the event with his second briefcase victory in the bag, and that does make a lot of sense, but if the company really wanted to be bold and shock audiences, then giving Big E the briefcase would be the way to go.
From a business perspective, it could also make a lot of sense. The New Day are one of the company’s best merchandise sellers, so having Big E modify the box and make it New Day could be a great marketing ploy.
