WWE just threw five more teams into the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and the tournament field is getting packed fast. The latest additions include Hank & Tank, Tokyo Bad Boys and several fresh pairings looking to crash the party when the Dusty Cup gets underway.
Announced on September 20, the newest teams joining the tournament are Tokyo Bad Boys, Hank & Tank, Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux, Harley Riggins & Jax Presley, and Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov. That gives WWE another batch of teams to work with after already rolling out a mix of NXT regulars, main-roster names and AAA talent. The five newly announced teams are:
- Tokyo Bad Boys
- Hank & Tank
- Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux
- Harley Riggins & Jax Presley
- Shido Ash & Viktor Zanov
Hank & Tank immediately stand out as one of the more familiar NXT combinations entering the field, while Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux now get their own chance to make a run at the Cup. Harley Riggins and Jax Presley, along with Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov, also enter a tournament that is quickly becoming one of the most crowded Dusty Classics WWE has put together in years.
They join an already loaded group of previously announced teams. The field includes NXT Tag Team Champions The Varsity Project, AAA Tag Team Champions Galeno and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr., The Creed Brothers, Los Americanos, Stacks and Uriah Connors, Mini Vikingo and Starboy Charlie, Fraxiom, DarkState, and Noam Dar with Romeo Moreno.
WWE has clearly gone much bigger with the 2026 tournament than simply tossing together a handful of NXT tag teams. With champions, established duos and some brand-new combinations all fighting for the same trophy, there are plenty of ways this bracket can go sideways in a hurry.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is set to begin during Tuesday’s episode of WWE NXT, and these latest additions give the tournament even more bodies before the brackets start doing the real damage.
