The New Day were split up on Friday Night SmackDown during the 2020 WWE Draft. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are going to RAW, and Big E is staying on SmackDown without them. This made fans feel several different ways about the situation.
WWE posted a simple tweet on Sunday afternoon. They said #ThankYouNewDay. The responses were varied, but most of them were critical of WWE for splitting up the faction.
The New Day were together for 6 years and Big E spoke openly about how this hurts on a real level. We’ll have to see what’s next, but WWE has plans for Big E to make a name on his own.
