Liv Morgan is moving on in the Queen of the Ring tournament, but not everyone is happy about it whatsoever.

After Morgan defeated Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green on the June 8 episode of WWE RAW in Paris, several fans took to Twitter to blast WWE’s decision. The biggest complaint was simple: Liv is already the Women’s World Champion, so many felt she didn’t need to advance in the tournament.

One fan questioned why Morgan was even moving forward while already holding gold: “Why the hell is she advancing in the queen of the Ring tournament when she’s already a champion.” Another fan made the same point even more directly: “Yall corny. She a champ already, she shouldnt have advanced.”

Some fans also complained that WWE is continuing to tie the tournament into the Judgment Day storyline, with one person saying Becky Lynch should have advanced instead of Liv Morgan.

“What a shame. Imagine playing this never ending Judgement Day garbage storyline inside a Queen of the Ring tournament 🤡 Becky should have advanced and went against Charlotte in the final. We don’t want a Raquel vs Liv final lol What a pathetic booking. First Dom now Liv”

Another fan criticized WWE for having Morgan chase tournament glory instead of defending her championship: “Instead of defending her title like rhea is, she is advancing in this tournament, the very opposite of booking 😭😭 Triple u so liv 😭”

That frustration continued as another fan said Morgan’s title reign is being hurt by the ongoing Judgment Day drama: “Can’t even defend her belt because of this stupid ass judgment day story THAT NEEDS TO END. Belts should be defended it’s becoming a joke” One fan summed up the anger by taking a direct shot at WWE creative: “Get some folks in the writing rooms with a f****** brain please we beg of you.”

Liv Morgan is now headed to the Queen of the Ring semifinals, but her win clearly sparked a strong reaction online. With Morgan already holding the Women’s World Championship, many fans feel WWE should be focusing on her title defenses instead of putting her deeper into the tournament.

The Queen of the Ring tournament will wrap up on June 27 at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where the winner will earn a championship opportunity. Now the question is whether WWE’s decision to push Morgan forward will pay off or lead to even more backlash.
