Lars Sullivan left WWE in 2021 for personal reasons and has stayed quiet and out of the public eye for the most part. However, he is now in the news again for making negative remarks about the Black Lives Matter movement and Big E, something that many people didn’t take too kindly to at all.

During the height of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, Big E used his platform to speak out against systemic injustice. He expressed his frustrations on social media, showing how the justice system repeatedly devalues the lives of Black individuals, as he said, “Imagine a justice system that tells you time and time again your life and the life of people that look like you is of little to no value.”

For some reason, Lars Sullivan recently took to Twitter and in a now-deleted tweet, responded to Big E’s past activism with some horrific accusations. Sullivan accused Big E of virtue signaling and questioned why he no longer supports BLM. He suggested that Big E stopped because it is no longer popular or because he believes the movement is corrupt, racist and anti-white in nature.

“Remember when this idiot went on a virtue signaling warpath in 2020? Why did this clown stop promoting BLM? It’s not fashionable anymore? Or did he realize that it’s a corrupt, racist organization that promotes a false narrative that fuels anti-white hate?”

This isn’t the first time Lars Sullivan has faced controversy and it definitely won’t be the last. During his time in WWE, he was fined $100,000 for past offensive remarks on message boards, including racist, sexist, and homophobic comments.

Lars Sullivan’s comments have created new debates about BLM, activism in sports, and his past behavior. After all, many others see them as more proof of his history of controversial and downright offensive remarks. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether Big E will respond to Sullivan’s hateful comments.
