Ex-WWE star Samuel Shaw is already collecting gold again after leaving the company earlier this year. Shaw, who competed in WWE as Dexter Lumis, has captured the Relentless Wrestling Heavyweight Championship for his first title since returning to the independent scene.

Shaw returned to WWE in 2022 for his second run with the company, but that stint came to an end in April 2026. He has since gone back to working outside WWE, and now he has a championship to show for it. Relentless Wrestling confirmed the title change after Shaw won the promotion’s top prize.

“AND NEW Relentless Heavyweight Champion, Samuel Shaw!”

During his most recent WWE run, Shaw was part of The Wyatt Sicks and also held the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Joe Gacy.

Shaw didn’t have to wait long to get back into the title picture after leaving WWE, and becoming Relentless Wrestling Heavyweight Champion gives him a major win as he starts the next chapter of his career.
