El Hijo del Vikingo is still a long way from stepping back into the ring, but he’s already taken another big step in the right direction. Less than a month after undergoing ACL surgery, the AAA star gave fans their clearest look yet at his recovery—and he’s already back to putting in the work.

Vikingo took to Instagram and shared a video documenting his rehabilitation. The footage showed him without a knee brace as he worked through a series of exercises, including riding a stationary bike, balancing on one leg, stretching, and continuing his physical therapy. Alongside the video, Vikingo kept his message short.

“Mr. HDLV on the Recovery…..”

The update comes just weeks after Vikingo underwent surgery to repair a torn ACL, an injury that’s expected to keep him out of action for around nine months. The setback forced WWE to change plans for NXT, where he had originally been scheduled to defend the AAA Latin American Championship before the match was scrapped due to the injury.

While Vikingo still has a long road ahead before he’s cleared to compete again, the latest footage is an encouraging sign that his rehabilitation is already well underway. For now, every milestone brings him one step closer to getting back in the ring.
