Dominik Mysterio still hasn’t been announced for WWE Clash in Italy, and he’s making it clear he doesn’t understand what WWE is waiting for.

WWE Clash in Italy is set for May 31, but Dominik has not been added to the show despite holding the AAA Mega Championship. So far, his 2026 in-ring schedule has been limited, with matches at WrestleMania 42 and a AAA Mega Title defense on the May 11 episode of RAW.

While speaking to Esse Magazine, Dominik was asked whether fans should expect to see him at Clash in Italy. He responded by saying WWE has “lightning in a bottle” with him but doesn’t seem to know how to use it.

“I don’t think they know what to do with me. I’m too cool—like, they have lightning in a bottle and they have no idea what to do with it, so they’re just letting it sit.”

Dominik then said he is simply waiting for WWE to give him something to do, while making it clear he believes he could be involved in major storylines. He also pointed to the names he has beaten as proof that WWE should already have bigger plans for him.

“So I’m like you, brother—I’m just waiting. I could have all the storylines, but like I said, they don’t know what to do with me. I’m good—lightning in a bottle—and they’re holding me. What are they waiting for? I don’t know. I’ve beaten John Cena, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Damian Priest. I don’t know what they’re waiting for.”

Dominik then took a shot at older talent being used while he remains off the Clash in Italy lineup. He then made it clear that if WWE does add him to Clash in Italy, he is ready to defend the AAA Mega Championship on the show.

“I’m 29 years old, I’m young—we’ve got all these old fossils working. I don’t know what they’re waiting for. I’m a patient man—I can wait. If they want to put me in Clash in Italy, I’ll put my AAA Mega Title on the line.”

Dominik’s comments add more attention to his current WWE status, especially with Clash in Italy just days away. As AAA Mega Champion, he has a major title WWE could showcase, but for now, he remains off the announced card. If WWE does decide to add him late, Dominik has already put the offer out there. He is willing to bring the AAA Mega Title to Italy and defend it on one of WWE’s biggest international shows.
