D’Lo Brown believes the Nation of Domination belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame, and honestly, it is hard to argue against that group’s impact.
During the Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo brought up D’Lo’s Hall of Fame case and questioned why he has not been inducted yet. Russo pointed to D’Lo’s Attitude Era work, his chemistry with Mark Henry, and his role in making the European Championship matter.
“How is DLo Brown not in the WWE Hall of Fame? And I say that not because he’s my friend, not because he’s here. For what he did during his time, the workhorse DLo was working with everybody, getting a nonsensical championship belt over. Great entertainment with him and Mark Henry. It goes on and on and on. How is this guy sitting here not in the Hall of Fame?”
D’Lo said he would love to receive that honor one day, but he also made it clear that he believes the Nation of Domination deserves recognition as a group.
“Look, if I’m ever lucky enough to be in the Hall of Fame, I think I would love it. I think the Nation as a whole deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.”
Coach agreed with him, and D’Lo continued by saying he does not want to campaign too hard for himself, even though he joked about deserving the honor.
“If I’m ever lucky enough, I think I’m in the Hall of Very good. I think the Hall of Fame is like that. I think the Nation belongs there. Maybe me as an individual. I don’t know. That’s up for — that’s not for me to decide because me being, I’m a humble guy. I’m going to — yeah, I should be in the damn Hall of Fame. No, I’m only joking.”
The Nation of Domination helped launch The Rock into superstardom and gave major TV time to Ron Simmons, Mark Henry, D’Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, and others. For a faction that had that much influence on WWE history, a Hall of Fame induction feels long overdue.
