Dawn Marie has traded the wrestling ring for OnlyFans — and she isn’t treating it like some side hustle. The former WWE and ECW star says the platform is now her full-time gig, complete with a home studio, costumes, live content and a new version of the Dawn Marie character built around who she is in her 50s.

Speaking on Velvet Ropes , Dawn talked about embracing OnlyFans as she approaches 56 years old and made it clear she doesn’t believe sex appeal comes with an expiration date.

“You know, it’s like why not be like, why, why can’t I do OnlyFans? Like 50 is sexy.”

Dawn said the biggest draw for her is that she controls everything herself. What started as another way to connect with fans has turned into something much bigger.

“It’s all, like I love talking with them. Yeah. And I do everything. Like I’m — this is like my full-time gig now, right? Because like I love it.”

She has even built a studio inside her house to handle the content. Dawn said the entire process scratches the same creative itch wrestling did for her, because the challenge is still finding a way to keep the same audience entertained without repeating yourself.

“Like I’m always buying — I just built a studio in my house and, um, so like it’s — okay, I relate everything in my life to wrestling because that’s the only thing I know.”

Dawn then compared creating OnlyFans content directly to being a professional wrestler who has to keep fans interested week after week.

“With wrestling I always say to people the hardest part about being successful in wrestling is not the moves or this or that. How do you go out there every single time and entertain those fans, the same fans week after week after week in a different way, but still be consistent, right?”

That is exactly how Dawn says she approaches OnlyFans. She uses different costumes, music, backdrops and live streams to keep the content changing while still giving fans the personality they already know.

“So like that was always like the creative side of me because, you know, of being Dawn Marie, the character. So I’m really enjoying this OnlyFans because I’m doing the same thing. Like I have costumes and I’m like putting stuff together and I put the music with it and I do my lives and I have like different backdrops.”

For Dawn, the platform has basically become another place to perform. The difference is that she’s now doing it on her own terms and at a completely different point in her life.

“And you know, how can I be Dawn Marie, my character, at my age now? Sure. You know, and, and, and just love enjoying entertaining. It’s just a different stage.”

She also admitted that the work has pushed her to take better care of herself. Dawn said she can become a recluse when she’s away from the public eye, but creating content has helped her feel connected to herself again.

“I can tend to be a little bit of a recluse. So like if I’m hiding and no one’s gonna see me, I’m like, ‘Yeah, okay. Peace. I’ll sit on the couch.’ But it’s nice now because it’s like I feel like I’m back in my own skin much more than I was for many years.”

Ringside News previously covered Dawn Marie launching her OnlyFans account, where she laid out clear boundaries about the kind of content fans could expect. She later explained why she decided to join the platform in the first place, making it clear that the move was about much more than simply cashing in on nostalgia.

The biggest thing Dawn wants people to understand is that she is not trying to recreate the woman wrestling fans watched two decades ago. She wants this version of Dawn Marie to reflect who she actually is now.

“Like I’m not chasing who I was. That’s what I want to point out. Like I’m not trying to be who I was. I’m being who I was now, like Dawn Marie in her 50s.”

Dawn has also made it clear that she isn’t planning an in-ring comeback, but that doesn’t mean she’s done performing. She just found a new stage, built the studio herself and turned it into a full-time business.

Dawn Marie isn’t trying to relive her WWE glory days. She’s taking the character fans remember, mixing it with the woman she is now and making OnlyFans the next stop in a career that has never exactly followed a normal path.
