Daria Rae is moving full speed into Hollywood after her WWE departure. Following the end of her 10-year run with WWE after the company chose not to renew her contract, the former Sonya Deville has turned her attention toward acting — and she already has a long list of projects lined up.
During a virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rae opened up about her growing acting career and revealed she currently has several films on the way following her WWE exit. After discussing the projects she has already released, Rae explained that six more movies are already filmed and currently in editing.
“I have quite a few movies coming out in the next year. Two of ‘em, yeah. Two since I left WWE and then I filmed six more that are in editing right now.”
Rae was then asked whether the films were all tied to Lifetime. She quickly shut that idea down while explaining that her projects are spread across several different platforms. She also made it clear that acting has now become her primary focus outside of wrestling.
“No. All different platforms. That’s my main gig.”
Rae’s transition into acting comes after spending a decade in WWE, where she became a featured name across RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Since leaving the company, she has continued making appearances in pro wrestling through her role in TNA Wrestling while simultaneously building her resume in film.
With six more projects already completed and waiting for release, it’s clear Rae is aggressively pursuing a long-term future in entertainment beyond the wrestling business.
