Daniel Cormier is trying to shut down the wild Eric Trump UFC betting mess before it gets any bigger.

The drama started before UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, when Cormier’s X account appeared to post screenshots of alleged messages from Eric Trump. The screenshots showed the account asking Cormier about fight picks, fighter injuries, betting, and even whether any fights on the card were rigged.

The post did not stay up long, but the damage was already done. Screenshots spread fast. The deleted post included a caption that made it sound like Cormier was exposing something serious before the White House event.

“I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent. The UFC is a sport that I am deeply passionate about I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior. Shame on anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event.”

The alleged exchange started with Eric Trump saying he would be attending the UFC event and saw Cormier was working the broadcast. Then the conversation appeared to turn toward fight information.

“Anything you can tell me about the fighters tomorrow? Who you got winning?”

Cormier allegedly tried to keep it neutral, saying he liked to stay unbiased. Then the account allegedly asked if any fighters were injured.

“Are any of the fighters injured that you know of?”

Cormier’s alleged response made it clear he thought the question was out of line.

“I’m not quite sure why youre asking me this but i think theyre all in good shape..”

Then came the part that blew the whole thing up. The account allegedly asked if the fights were rigged.

“I’ll just cut to the chase. Are any of the fights tomorrow rigged? I’ve been eyeing the Lopes fight and I think an upset wouldn’t be too unrealistic. $$”

Cormier allegedly snapped back immediately.

“No none of our fights rigged and honestly I am appalled that you would even ask me something like that.”

Now Cormier is saying none of it was him. After UFC Freedom 250, TMZ caught up with DC and asked him about the deleted post. Cormier laughed off the idea that people believed it and claimed his account was compromised.

“I can’t believe you guys believe that. I got hacked or something!”

That is DC’s story now. He is not standing by the deleted post, and there has been no public confirmation that the alleged messages were authentic.

UFC Freedom 250 already had enough going on. The event took place on the White House lawn on June 15, dealt with a weather delay, and had plenty of political and celebrity attention around it. Then a deleted post about Eric Trump allegedly asking about betting and rigged fights turned the whole thing into a circus before the card even really got going.

Cormier says he was hacked. The internet already has the screenshots. Now the question is whether people actually buy that explanation.
