Danhausen might actually end up at the Knicks championship parade because this whole “uncursed” thing is not slowing down at all.

WFAN jumped into the madness as they took to Twitter and publicly invited Danhausen to be their guest at Thursday’s New York Knicks celebratory parade in NYC. The station didn’t play coy about it either.

“You are cordially invited to be our guest at the parade on Thursday, @DanhausenAD!”

That is a pretty big deal because WFAN has a history with pro wrestling as well. The station has carried wrestling-related programming in the past, including The Taz Show’s post-WWE WrestleMania specials. So yeah, Danhausen getting the invite makes this Knicks/WWE crossover feel even more real.

The invite comes after the Knicks won the NBA Championship and ended their 53-year drought. Danhausen had already become part of the team’s playoff story by “uncursing” them, and WWE wasted no time jumping on the moment with Danhausen x Knicks championship merch. Bryan Alvarez also noted that TKO is helping put the Danhausen and Knicks deal together, and WWE cameras are expected to be around when New York celebrates.

“The Danhausen/Knicks deal is being put together by TKO. WWE cameras will be at the parade, and they will likely be putting together a Knicks/Danhausen documentary for YouTube.”

Danhausen also celebrated the Knicks’ title win on Twitter, congratulating the team while keeping the whole “forever uncursed” thing alive. He didn’t stop there either. In a video after the win, Danhausen declared himself the king of New York and joked that the city now owes him a statue, mural, parade, and even a giant balloon.

“.@nyknicks CONGRATULATIONS FROM DANHAUSEN FOREVER UNCURSED 🏀👹🦷🗽 @WWE. Yes. We did it. Danhausen’s the king of New York now.”

So now we’ve got the Knicks as NBA Champions, WWE merch already out, TKO involved, WWE cameras expected at the parade, a possible YouTube documentary, and WFAN inviting Danhausen to join the party. This went from a funny wrestling crossover to a full-on New York sports spectacle real fast. At this point, don’t be shocked if Danhausen actually shows up at the parade and somehow steals the whole thing.

What do you think about WFAN inviting Danhausen to the Knicks championship parade? Should WWE and TKO keep running with this crossover? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.
