Danhausen may be bringing his strange Knicks magic straight to Madison Square Garden. After getting tied into New York’s playoff run, the wrestling star is now expected to be in attendance for tonight’s Knicks game in New York City.

PWInsider.com reports that a source at Madison Square Garden said Danhausen is internally expected to be a guest at tonight’s New York Knicks game. The game is the third of the NBA Eastern Conference Championship, and Danhausen’s expected appearance comes after he previously “uncursed” the team.

That whole thing has become one of the weirder side stories around the Knicks’ postseason run. Danhausen first lifted the curse on the Knicks on April 28, and the team has been rolling ever since, lighting up New York City in the process.

Now it looks like Danhausen could be in the building while the Knicks continue their run at Madison Square Garden. That is exactly the kind of weird crossover moment that makes sense once wrestling and New York sports start mixing together.

Danhausen had already made demands from Stephen A. Smith over keeping the Knicks uncursed, including wanting courtside seats, more money, or even his own TV show. Whether those demands had anything to do with him being expected at MSG is unclear, but the timing is pretty funny.

The Knicks have already given fans plenty to talk about during this playoff run, and Danhausen being expected at the game only adds to the scene inside Madison Square Garden. If New York keeps winning with him around, fans may not want him leaving anytime soon.
