The November 11 edition of Monday Night RAW that was pre-taped at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan marked the long-anticipated return of one of the most dynamic stars in the women’s division, Dakota Kai.
Dakota Kai’s return was a highlight, and she immediately made an impact. Teaming with her Damage CTRL allies after returning from injury, they secured a victory, kicking off what looks to be a promising resurgence for Kai and her faction.
Following a spectacular win on her first night back on Monday Night RAW, the former NXT Standout took to her Instagram to reflect on her return to the brand. Dakota Kai posted a series of photos and videos from RAW and indicated that she is ready to be involved into the mix.
“Put me in, coach 🩷Return of the King Shout out to @churchandap 🫶🏽.”
Kai’s last WWE bout took place during the WWE SuperShow Summer Tour on July 27, 2024, at Tokyo’s Ryogoku Kokugikan. She alongside her Damage CTRL cohort IYO Sky triumphed over Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Following that, a meniscus injury sidelined her, which prolonged her break from the ring longer than initially expected.
With her return now official, Dakota Kai looks poised to strengthen Damage CTRL’s position in WWE’s women’s division. Her journey to reestablishing herself starts now, and fans can expect more as she continues to build momentum.
