Priest takes the mic and says he overheard Gunther was planning to talk about him and decided he’d rather hear it face-to-face. Cutting Gunther off, Priest anticipates the insults: being called street trash, a Latino nobody, or someone abandoned by his own parents while Gunther waited for his big break. Priest reveals that the first time their eyes met, he understood why people feared Gunther. But now, he’s certain he can defeat him—and that’s the truth. He adds that if not for being betrayed by his own ‘brother,’ the title wouldn’t be in Gunther’s possession. Priest accuses Gunther of losing his edge since becoming champion and starting to doubt himself.

Priest continues, pointing out that Gunther’s aura faded even more after being pinned by Cody Rhodes. Gunther shouts at Priest, frustration evident in his tone. Priest smirks and says Gunther has no right to speak, accusing him of being full of doubt. That doubt, Priest claims, comes from knowing deep down that he can’t defeat him. He taunts Gunther, saying the once-intimidating “killa” is gone because if it were anyone else, Gunther would have taken a swing by now. Priest challenges him to do it, adding that the crowd doesn’t want to wait until Survivor Series. He urges Gunther to take his shot, promising that if he did, he’d drop him right there.

Before anything can escalate further, Ludwig Kaiser appears and walks down the aisle to the ring. He demands to know what’s going on and questions what Priest is doing there. Addressing Priest, Kaiser reminds him that out of everyone present, he’s the one doubting the Ring General. He points out that Gunther has already defeated Priest once and warns him to step out of the ring before history repeats itself.

Gunther, visibly irritated, interrupts Kaiser and prods him in the chest repeatedly. Kaiser, defiant, starts to say he won’t let “that street trash” speak to Gunther like—

Before he can finish, Priest throws a punch at Kaiser, following it up with a clothesline that sends Kaiser tumbling over the top rope to the floor. Gunther, eyes locked with Priest, exits the ring without another word.

Woods quickly states that it isn’t their problem. Kofi, however, insists that it is his problem, declaring that if anyone has an issue with Truth, they also have an issue with him.
