Ryback thinks that McMahon has created his own little world over the years and he can basically do what he wants at this point. McMahon’s 72 years old now but he’s still trucking along, and it’s obvious that he’s not satisfied with the empire that he’s built. Ryback thinks McMahon likes a challenge and there’s not really anything left for him to accomplish in WWE, so that’s why he wants to dip his toes into something else before he gets too old.
Ryback suspects that McMahon may be considering starting a football league that runs year-round. WWE doesn’t have an off season and football is the most successful sport in the United States, so perhaps McMahon thinks the no-offseason model would work for a football league.
He also points out that McMahon thrives on competition, and with all the rumours that McMahon might be considering selling WWE, Ryback doesn’t rule that out. He points out that McMahon is so confident that could realistically sell WWE for billions of dollars, and then start a new wrestling promotion to compete with his old brand.
