Bret Hart’s grudges just got the full parody treatment—and comedian Kyle Fields didn’t leave Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels or Goldberg untouched.
Fields took to Instagram and posted a video dressed as The Hitman during a trip to Half Price Books in Lexington, Kentucky. The entire bit mocked Hart’s troubled history with three men he has publicly ripped apart for nearly three decades. Fields entered the store in Bret-style gear and immediately found a copy of The Beverly Hillbillies. That was all he needed to drag Vince and Shawn into the picture.
“We’re at Half Price Books in Lexington, Kentucky. Look at this. You know, Vince loved hillbillies. He also loved to have sex with Shawn Michaels.”
The Shawn jokes didn’t stop there. Fields picked up a copy of CSI and turned the show’s title into a graphic shot at Michaels.
“CSI. I’ll tell you who’s seen a lot of jizz—it’s Shawn Michaels.”
Next came Quantum Leap, giving fake Bret another opening to take aim at Michaels’ sexuality.
“Quantum Leap. I wonder if Shawn could ever leap into somebody who wasn’t gay.”
Fields then found Pitch Black and briefly dropped the wrestling references for a joke about his taste in women.
“All right, there’s how I like my women—all that.”
The video kept rolling with a Betty White reference before Fields took another shot at Vince’s booking decisions.
“Vince, book somebody as the world champion. Betty White.”
Then came the Goldberg kill shot. Fields picked up the PlayStation 2 game Gun and joked that carrying a weapon would be the only thing capable of convincing Bret to enter the ring with Goldberg again.
“Gun. That’s the only way I’d get back in the ring with Bill Goldberg.”
That line was a direct shot at the kick from Goldberg that ended Hart’s match at WCW Starrcade 1999 and contributed to the concussion issues that brought his in-ring career to an end. Hart has blasted Goldberg’s wrestling ability and safety countless times since then. Fields finished the video with one more filthy reference involving Vince and Shawn.
“You know, I heard that Vince was waiting to exhale as he was gargling Shawn.”
The parody worked because Fields didn’t need to invent new enemies for Bret. He simply raided a bookstore, grabbed a stack of random titles and connected every one of them to the same three men Hart has been burying for years.
