Cody Rhodes hasn’t been seen since Malakai Black beat him in decisive fashion. Then he took off to film the Go Big Show. He will be back in AEW, and The American Nightmare is looking to take out some revenge on Malakai Black. It was previously reported that Cody will be back this month, and that is the case.

Malakai Black defeated Dustin Rhodes this week on AEW Dynamite. In the process, Black revealed that Cody Rhodes’ boot was underneath the ring. He pulled it out as a way to taunt Dustin before beating him.
During AEW Dynamite this week, they revealed that Cody Rhodes will return at the AEW Grand Slam event in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 22nd. He will take on Malakai Black.
