Chelsea Green is already making her return to WWE appearances less than two weeks after undergoing a heart procedure following a scary health episode connected to WrestleMania 42.
Despite recently being placed on bed rest while also recovering from an ankle injury, the SmackDown star revealed Thursday night that she is officially back on the road and heading straight to WWE television.
Green shared on social media that she attended the Los Angeles premiere for the upcoming Star Wars film “The Mandalorian and Grogu” before immediately traveling for SmackDown.
“From #TheMandalorian and Grogu premiere tonight in LA straight to #SmackDown in Charlotte!”
Green recently underwent a procedure to correct supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), which is an abnormal heart rhythm condition that had apparently gone undiagnosed for years. The situation became much more serious during WrestleMania 42 weekend when Green experienced an episode where her heart rate reached 228 beats per minute for approximately 15 minutes.
At the time of the procedure, Green was already sidelined with an ankle injury. Even while recovering, she has remained involved on WWE television. Last week, Green appeared in a pre-recorded SmackDown segment tied to her ongoing storyline with WWE Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton, where she once again tried to win Stratton over without much success.
Green’s quick return to WWE appearances after dealing with both a heart procedure and an injury is already getting attention, especially with her jumping right back into travel and storyline involvement so quickly.
Do you think Chelsea Green is returning too soon after her procedure, or does this show exactly why fans have connected with her so much in WWE? Drop your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
