Charlotte Flair has spent years building one of the biggest careers in WWE, but she’s already thinking about the next role she wants in life — becoming a mom, however it happens.
While speaking with Stephanie McMahon on What’s Your Story?, Flair opened up about how deeply she connects with children and revealed that motherhood is something she absolutely wants in her future.
The subject came up after McMahon praised Flair for the time she has given to children through hospital visits, appearances and personal connections with young fans. Flair made it clear those relationships mean even more to her because she does want kids of her own someday. Then Charlotte dropped the part that really opened up the conversation — she’s already thought about adoption.
“I just, I want children one day. So these are my kids. Yeah. I don’t have my own.”
“And I’m sure like I’ll adopt when the time is right.”
McMahon immediately asked whether she would seriously consider adopting, and Flair didn’t hesitate.
“Yeah. Yeah no, I mean, I’m going to have, I think women in our 40s could do so much now.”
The conversation then turned to foster children, and Flair made it clear she isn’t locking herself into one specific version of how becoming a mother has to happen. That instinct is already there every time she sees young WWE fans sitting near the ring. Flair joked that she basically wants to claim every kid she sees.
“There’s a lot of foster kids too. A lot of foster so, however I become a mother, I do feel like I’m a mom too.”
“Every time I see the little kids front row, I’m like. It’s the best. You’re mine, you’re mine, you’re mine, you’re mine. I get so attached.”
Flair also connected that side of herself to the impact Scarlett had on her life. She explained that Scarlett’s story changed the way she looks at purpose, loss and the time people get with each other.
“I know Scarlett’s time on earth served a purpose and a reason. She came, she did what she was supposed to, and we don’t see what she was supposed to do right now, but we know like Reid, I was never supposed to wrestle.”
Charlotte Flair doesn’t know exactly how motherhood is going to happen yet, but she clearly isn’t treating it like some distant fantasy either. Whether that path ends up being adoption, fostering or something else, she’s already made one thing pretty clear — she wants to be a mom, and she’s keeping every door open.
