TNA Wrestling has made a late schedule change for Lockdown, moving the pay-per-view’s start time up ahead of the company’s long-awaited return of the steel cage event.
The promotion announced that Lockdown will now begin at 6 p.m. ET (5 p.m. CT) on Sunday, August 23, live from Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago. Every match on the card will take place inside a steel cage, continuing the signature format that made Lockdown one of TNA’s most recognizable events. The updated schedule is:
- Doors Open: 3 p.m. CT
- Lockdown Pre-Show: 4 p.m. CT
- Lockdown Pay-Per-View: 5 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. ET
The event marks TNA’s first Lockdown since 2016 and its first show at Chicago’s Credit Union 1 Arena, formerly known as the UIC Pavilion, a venue with deep ties to professional wrestling history. With the earlier bell time now official, fans planning to attend or watch live will want to adjust their schedules accordingly.
