Tiffany Stratton won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but it wasn’t long before one of WWE’s former briefcase holders stepped in to correct something she said afterwards.
After Money in the Bank 2026, Stratton claimed she had become the first-ever two-time Women’s Money in the Bank winner. That didn’t sit right with Carmella, who quickly took to Twitter to remind everyone that she actually reached that milestone first.
Instead of just tweeting back, Carmella posted a graphic showing that she was the first woman to win the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase twice. The graphic also noted that she’s only the third superstar overall to become a two-time Money in the Bank winner, joining CM Punk and Seth Rollins. She also couldn’t resist getting in one little joke at Stratton’s expense after the brutal ladder match.
“I think she hit her head a little too hard last night 🫨 but congrats on the win, babe! 👏🏼👏🏼”
It was more playful than hostile, but Carmella definitely wasn’t going to let WWE history get rewritten. She gave Stratton credit for the win while making sure everyone knew who actually got there first.
Whether Tiffany simply got caught up in the excitement after winning the briefcase or genuinely forgot the record books, Carmella wasted no time setting the record straight. It’ll be interesting to see if Stratton responds, or if she just lets this one go.
Do you think Carmella was right to speak up and correct the record, or should she have let Tiffany Stratton enjoy the moment? Let us know what you think.
