Cardi B is bringing a little WWE chaos to her Little Miss Drama tour, and Batista is the one who inspired it.

The show opens with a massive pyro display that sounds like machine-gun fire, with Cardi acting out the blasts as if she is firing along with them. Wrestling fans immediately noticed the similarity to Batista’s old WWE entrance, and Cardi later confirmed that was exactly the point.

She revealed on Instagram that Batista’s entrance inspired the opening of her concerts, giving the former WWE Champion another pop culture nod years after his walk to the ring became one of the company’s most recognizable entrances.

Cardi has never hidden her love for wrestling. She hosted WWE SummerSlam 2025 and has spoken before about her favorite entrances, saying Batista had the best pyro while Edge had the best theme song.

Now she has taken part of that wrestling obsession on tour. The explosive opening is clearly designed to make Cardi look larger than life before she even starts performing, and borrowing from Batista’s entrance does exactly that.

What do you think about Cardi B using Batista’s WWE pyro as inspiration for her tour entrance? Let us know your feedback in the comments.
