Even though she appeared on recent episodes of NXT, Candice LeRae still hasn’t signed a deal with WWE. LeRae made it all the way to the semifinals of The Mae Young Classic by defeating Renee Michelle and Nicole Savoy but lost to Shayna Baszler.
Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that LaRae is currently in NXT for enhancement work.
“She’s not under contract so she’s just there for enhancement work,” Meltzer wrote. “She always get a big reaction and looks good and wrestles better than most, but sometimes the decision making isn’t the easiest to figure out.“
