Bryan Danielson and Kazuchika Okada main evented the 2023 Forbidden Door event, and the former WWE Champion won via submission. That being said, he didn’t escape the match without a souvenir in the form of an injury.

Bryan Danielson was quick to admit during the media scrum after Forbidden Door that he fractured his arm. We later found out that it was far worse than anyone thought.

Now, after surgery, Bryan Danielson can heal. He uploaded a photo of his x-ray following surgery, and a caption to let fans know what is going on.

About to sit and watch #AEWDynamite, and thought I’d give an update on my arm. I got surgery about two weeks ago, where they put a steel rod and 9 screws in my arm. Surgery went well, and now I’m on the road to recovery. I’m bummed I’m missing #BloodAndGuts (again!), but PAC is an excellent replacement on the BCC side. Thanks to everyone for all their support, and make sure to check out Dynamite tonight!

We can only hope that Bryan Danielson is able to heal up fast. If anything, we know that the AEW fan base can’t wait to see what the American Dragon has to offer.

Bryan Danielson was on the road to another big achievement in AEW, but he hit quite a roadblock. How do you feel about his injury? Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think!
