The April 20 WWE RAW was a big show after WrestleMania. Brock Lesnar isn’t around anymore, and they made that very apparent.
Oba Femi beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 in a historic match. Right after that loss, Lesnar took off his gloves and boots to leave them in the ring. That signaled a retirement, which was confirmed on RAW.
Michael Cole introduced a very nice video package for Brock Lesnar this week on RAW. “Thank you, Brock,” chants rang out of from the crowd after that. It was quite a moment. Then Paul Heyman came out with The Vision.
The Vision took to the ring and Paul Heyman started off his promo by going off on the people in the WWE production truck. He said that WWE should take Brock Lesnar out of the “then” portion of the intro, because he needs to be in the “forever.” He then said that Brock Lesnar will forever be the baddest [blank] in WWE.
We will have to see if Brock Lesnar really stays away forever. At this point, it certainly looks like WWE is selling his retirement. He also made a huge impression while he was around.
