WWE RAW Results (4/20/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a video package recapping this past weekend’s WWE WrestleMania 42.

Michael Cole and Corey Graves then welcomes us to the show as we see the arrivals of WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan with The Judgment Day and WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley with IYO SKY as they will battle The Kabuki Warriors tonight.

Oba Femi’s music then hits and he struts his way down to the ring to a big ovation from the fans. The crowd loudly sings to Oba. Oba looks around before raising the microphone to his mouth. He is then cut off by an “Oba Femi” chant. Oba says The Ruler has arrived. Oba then drops the microphone and poses as his music plays. The crowd then chants his name.

We then see Asuka and she tells IYO SKY she chose her like family and she will always be IYO’s senpai. Asuka then says you seem to forget this. Asuka then says tonight you will remember. Asuka then says since you devoted yourself to Rhea Ripley, how has that worked out. Asuka then says Rhea is champion, but what about you. Asuka then says you are nothing. Asuka then says it didn’t have to happen that way. Asuka then says you would have shown respect and your senpai would be by your side. Kairi then tells IYO she beat her last week and they will beat her again. Asuka then says IYO is not ready for her.

IYO SKY and WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Kabuki Warriors follow.

Tag Team Match: RHIYO (WWE Women’s Champion “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley and “The Genius of the Sky” IYO SKY) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (“The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka and “The Pirate Princess” Kairi Sane)

The match starts off with IYO and Sane and they lock up. IYO then gives a clean break and Sane pushes IYO. Sane then cinches in a wrist lock and IYO does a reversal into a side head lock. Sane then grabs IYO’s hair and sends her to the mat. Sane then tosses IYO to the mat, but IYO does a handspring to land on her feet. IYO then hits a kick and she cinches in a wrist lock. Sane then hits an Irish whip and IYO sends Sane to the apron. Sane then leaps over IYO and she taunts IYO and Rhea. Sane then stomps on the foot and she hits a head scissors and a drop kick. IYO then gets a rollup for a near fall. IYO then goes for a butterfly back breaker and she hits it.

Rhea then tags in and she sends IYO onto Sane and Rhea gets a near fall. Rhea then hits a face plant and Asuka makes the tag. Rhea then misses a round kick and Asuka hits a slap. Rhea then hits a face buster, but Asuka hits a back fist and several kicks. Asuka then hits a running knee, but Rhea hits a round kick for a near fall. Rhea then kicks Asuka and Asuka distracts the referee, but Sane cannot take advantage. Asuka then hits Rhea and Sane tags in. Sane then hits an elbow drop to the floor. Sane then sends Rhea into the announce desk and chops her. Sane then gets a near fall. Sane then sends Rhea into Asuka’s boot and Asuka tags in. Asuka then does some dancing in the ring and she slaps and pie faces Rhea.

Rhea then slaps Asuka. Asuka then hits a kick and follows it up with more Kawada kicks. Asuka then hits a scorpion kick. Sane then tags in and she goes up top and Sane hits a boot and a head scissors in the ropes. Asuka then tags in and she applies an arm bar. Asuka then distracts the referee and Sane kicks Rhea. Sane then tags in and snap mares Rhea and follows it up with a drop kick. Asuka then tags in and Asuka goes for a reverse DDT, but Rhea escapes. Rhea then hits a running kick to Sane and both women are down. Asuka and IYO then tag in and IYO hits a back elbow and a shotei. IYO then hits a kick to Asuka and IYO blocks a kick from Sane and sends her boot into Asuka.

IYO then splits the defense with handsprings and she hits a double drop kick and does the ears gimmick. IYO then hits a running double knee strikes to Asuka and Sane. IYO then hits a round kick for a near fall. Rhea then tags in and she sets up for a Razor’s Edge and hits it. IYO then hits a missile drop kick. Rhea then gets a near fall. Asuka then escapes a Rip Tide and Asuka hits IYO on the apron. Sane then tags in and they hit a series of double team moves including a double kick for a near fall. IYO then hits a stomp to Asuka and Sane hits several forearms to IYO. IYO then hits a suicide dive when Sane Irish whips her. Rhea then hits a head butt and IYO tags in. Rhea then hits a Rip Tide and IYO hits a moonsault for the win.

After the match, while Rhea and IYO celebrate in the ring, Asuka yells at Kairi again.

We then see Adam Pearce with Penta and he congratulates him. Je’Von Evans then shows up and he congratulates Penta on his win, but he says he is not going anywhere. Penta then says he will do it again, but his title isn’t going anywhere. Ethan Page then shows up and Pearce says he is the newest member of RAW. Page then says he gets what he wants. Page then says he wants the Intercontinental Title. Page then says he won’t need a second chance. Pearce then interrupts and says they can settle it in the ring. Evans then says nobody is going to take his spot especially Page.

We then see Los Americanos in the interview area. Bravo says this is Sin City. Bravo then says it is like Jobbero City. Rayo then says these people cannot dress like them. Bravo then says they cannot dance like them and Bravo dances. Rayo then says you have no respect. Bravo then says they have no culture. Grande then says he promises to him and to you and everyone all over the world that he will take this mask off your ugly mug, raise it high and walk to his home to celebrate the greatest fiesta ever seen.

Andre The Giant Battle Royal winner Royce Keys is then shown in the crowd.

CM Punk then walks through gorilla and makes his way down to the ring. Punk then grabs a mic and starts off by saying he has been dealing with a lot of loss in the last six months and since October. Punk then says he was in Japan and he was told his MMA trainer passed away. Punk then says Larry crossed the rainbow bridge. Punk then says every few weeks, it feels like someone in the WWE family have passed away. Punk then mentions them and says these are the people behind the scenes who make this a well oiled machine. Punk then says these are the people who grind day in and day out when he is away from family that they call him family. Punk then says that is why he paid tribute to them on his jacket.

Punk then says he lost last night. Punk then says all of the aforementioned losses hurt more than losing the title. Punk then says every week, you helped him heal from all of these losses. Punk then says being champion gave him a reason not to slow down and reduce himself to a puddle of tears. Punk then thanks everyone for helping him process his grief. Punk then says he feels that they will help him get through this most recent thought. Punk then says he wasn’t supposed to be champion, but being champion at 46 for 3 minutes isn’t bad. Punk then says he could have reduced himself to a puddle of tears, eat donuts and hang out at home with his hot wife. Punk then says he poured his soul to entertain you. Punk then says because he stayed ready, he got a chance when Seth got hurt. Punk then says he is champion. Punk then says if he wasn’t ready, you would be listening to Jey Uso.

Punk then wonders why they are booing because he likes Yeeting. Punk then says he lost last night, but he is smiling. Punk then says he is still the best in the world. Punk then says he came to Vegas and he said he had a dream since he was a kid. Punk then says he stood under the brightest lights on the biggest stage and he proved it. Punk then says last night was not his night. Punk then says he is not going to go home and sulk or go on vacation because you never know when a title match is going to fall from the sky.

Cody Rhodes’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Punk then checks on Cody’s eye. Punk then asks Cody if he screwed up and went over his time. Cody then tells Punk not to leave because it is RAW and his time. Cody then says maybe he assumed and was incorrect. Cody then says he was standing by and watching like all of your peers. Punk then asks if Cody thought he was going to freak out or crash out. Cody then says he thought Punk was going to freak out. Cody then says Punk knows who he is and Punk knows him. He then says tonight you are buttoned up and not what Cody was expecting. Cody then says Punk deserves the flowers that Vegas gave him. Cody then says he doesn’t know what he is supposed to do. Cody then says he looks like a loser.

Punk then asks if he should feel like a loser. He then says he doesn’t feel like a loser. He then says he might look like a loser to some. Punk then says Cody is not a loser. Punk then says he knows why Cody feels that way. Punk then says you beat a first ballot Hall of Famer. Punk then says you beat a friend and mentor. Punk then says he fought someone he hates. Finn Bálor then cuts a promo and says last night Dominik brought out The Demon and The Demon put him down. Finn then says he is not done with The Judgment Day. Finn then says Dominik drew first blood so he was the first to fall. Finn then says he expected this type of betrayal from Dominik, but JD. Finn then says he remembers when JD was 12 and walks into the gym to train. Finn then says he turned JD into one of the greatest performers. Finn then says he knew that JD would have his back, but JD made a choice and he chose Dominik. Finn then says this is a full circle moment. Finn then says I brought you into this business, but tonight I am going to take you out.
