Bobby Lashley has a new ride, and apparently he had one very specific reason for buying it. The AEW star has joined the growing list of wrestling names with a Tesla Cybertruck, but he seems more interested in what the truck can do than simply showing it off.
Lashley took to Instagram and uploaded a video revealing his recent Cybertruck purchase. The clip started by asking a pretty simple question: “Why would you even get a Tesla?” Lashley’s answer didn’t require much explaining.
The video showed Lashley sitting casually behind the wheel while the Cybertruck appeared to drive itself, with dramatic orchestra music playing in the background. Lashley was basically just chilling in the driver’s seat and letting the vehicle do the work. He also had some fun comparing himself to the famously bulky-looking truck in the caption.
“When you and your truck have the same build. 😂💪🏾”
He’s certainly not the first wrestling name to get his hands on a Cybertruck either. Jade Cargill, Liv Morgan and Booker T have all previously revealed their own purchases. Kane joined that list earlier this year and took things a little further by customizing his Cybertruck with orange decals and “Big Orange Machine” branding as a nod to his famous WWE nickname. He proudly declared, “I love my Cybertruck!” while showing it off in March.
Now Lashley has joined the Cybertruck club as well. His truck might not have the “Big Orange Machine” treatment, but considering Lashley’s caption about the two having the same build, he’s already found his own way to make the purchase fit his personality.
