As previously reported, Bobby Heenan passed away this past Sunday at the age of 73. At the time of press, his cause of death was unknown but we can now provide more details.
According to the obituary on TampaBay.com, Heenan died from organ failures that were brought on by his battle with cancer. Heenan was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002 and has been in remission since 2004.
Heenan’s daughter Jessica Solt told the TampaBay.com that “It was just his time.”
