Blake Monroe is not interested in making travel buddies backstage in WWE. The Glamour would rather ride alone—and she is not squeezing into a cheap rental car to do it.
While speaking to TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Monroe was asked which WWE stars she travels with while moving from city to city. Monroe made it clear that she does not travel with anyone because she is not trying to join a group or make friends backstage.
“I’m The Glamour. I ride solo. I don’t know if you’ve been watching me on SmackDown, but I’m not trying to make friends. I don’t make friends. I’m a leader. I’m not going to be with the pack.”
Monroe then explained exactly how she separates herself from the rest of the roster. While other wrestlers split rental cars, she books a private luxury ride.
“I go by myself. I get the Uber Exec, the nice black SUV. They can all pile into their rentals. You won’t be seeing me.”
When the host questioned whether that behavior made her a diva backstage, Monroe argued that treating herself well should be considered self-care.
“Am I a diva, or is that self-care?”
Monroe said she has been wrestling since she was 19 years old and has earned the right to travel comfortably after spending years building her career.
“I’ve been wrestling since I was 19, and I’m 27 now. I deserve my first class and my Uber Exec. I’m The Glamour for a reason.”
Monroe is not attempting to hide the fact that she expects first-class treatment. Whether fans call it diva behavior or self-care, she has no plans to start piling into rental cars with everyone else.
