Blake Monroe just saw one of Toni Storm’s nastiest AEW promos pop back up online, and she had zero interest in letting it age gracefully. The former Mariah May basically told fans to enjoy the clip now — because she plans on making it look ridiculous once she starts stacking titles in WWE.
On September 4, 2026, @mariwrld reposted the old “Timeless” Toni Storm promo from Monroe’s AEW run, where Storm predicted May would spend the rest of her career being good, but never great. Storm went straight for the throat in the clip, telling May she didn’t even deserve the “dignity of death” before laying out a future where she’d eventually be replaced and forgotten.
“You do not deserve the dignity of death. I sentence you to a lifetime of mediocrity. Your life will continue. Your career will continue. And it’ll be good, but never great. People will like you, but never love you. Because the star that you are will not compare to this monster that you’ve become. So you will dwindle, be replaced and be forgotten. Then one day, many years from now, someone will ask, whatever happened to Mariah May she found out what happens when you try to kill God.”
Monroe saw the post and immediately went after the whole idea that fans should still be hanging onto an old scripted AEW promo now that she’s in WWE.

The person running the account quickly told Monroe they weren’t trying to hate and actually wanted to see her win big, mentioning Money in the Bank, King of the Ring and a world title. Another fan then asked if Monroe was hinting that she was winning Money in the Bank. Blake’s answer was basically: think bigger.
“I’m winning everything, I got my whole career ahead of me”
That’s a hell of a way to answer a promo built around the idea that your best days were already numbered.
Toni Storm once told Mariah May she was headed for mediocrity, replacement and eventually irrelevance. Blake Monroe is now in WWE saying the exact opposite — she hasn’t peaked, she isn’t slowing down, and as far as she’s concerned, the trophy case is just getting started.
