Baron Corbin is no longer an MLW World Tag Team Champion.
Just days after winning the WWE United States Championship, Corbin — wrestling in MLW as Bishop Dyer — officially dropped the MLW World Tag Team Titles when The Good Brothers beat The Skyscrapers on MLW Fusion. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows picked up the win after hitting the Magic Killer on Dyer for the pin.
The match was actually taped back on May 9 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, months before Corbin won the WWE United States Championship. That’s why he was still showing up on MLW television with the tag titles despite already becoming a WWE champion.
Now that the match has aired, the title change is official. The Good Brothers are the new MLW World Tag Team Champions, and Corbin’s run with the belts is over.
