Bad Bunny may be getting ready to step back into the ring, and AAA just cracked that door open.
During Saturday’s AAA on Fox broadcast, JBL asked AAA general manager Rey Mysterio if Bad Bunny could be brought into the promotion now that Damian Priest had arrived. Rey didn’t shut it down. He said AAA is working on it too. Mysterio kept it short, “We’re working on that as well.”
Bryan Alvarez has also confirmed there is something to Mysterio’s tease about Bad Bunny and AAA, so this wasn’t just some random name-drop on television.
Bad Bunny has already been part of WWE before. He teamed with Damian Priest at WrestleMania 37, where they picked up a win over The Miz and John Morrison. He later faced Priest at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, in a match Dave Meltzer rated four and a half stars.
There had also been talk about Bad Bunny being in discussions with WWE for a possible match against Logan Paul. Paul later addressed that idea on Impaulsive and said he thinks it would be: “The greatest WWE match of all time.”
Now, with Damian Priest arriving in AAA and Rey Mysterio openly saying they are working on Bad Bunny as well, the comeback talk is going to get louder. Nothing has been announced yet, but AAA clearly wants people paying attention. Bad Bunny may be getting ready to step back into the ring, and this time AAA could be part of the story.
