Another Title Change At NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff

NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff was a big night for WWE’s NXT UK brand with their second WWE Network special. This was also a very big night for one NXT UK Superstar as she became a champion.

Toni Storm and Kay Lee Ray fought in a barnburner of a match for the NXT UK Women’s Title. This match could have gone either direction several times during the contest. Then Kay Lee Ray surprised everyone to become the new NXT UK Women’s Champion.

This was the second title change of the evening at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff after the NXT UK Tag Team Titles had previously changed hands.

It is very interesting that Toni Storm dropped her title in this fashion. We’ll just have to see what is next for her.
