Amazing Red didn’t just walk into the TNA Hall of Fame on October 11, 2026 — he walked right back into the X-Division title picture before leaving the stage.
Frankie Kazarian handled the induction and wasted no time explaining why Red belonged there. Kazarian said he first met Red in 2001 and was immediately blown away by both his high-risk offense and humble personality. He described Red as someone fans had to see to believe, and pointed to his 2002 TNA arrival as the beginning of a run that helped shape the X-Division.
Kazarian also got personal while looking back at their history together, including the night he won his first X-Division Championship against Red. He called Red an unselfish man in a selfish business and said his influence is still everywhere in wrestling today.
After a video package, Amazing Red came out with his family watching from the crowd, including his son Aiden, as fans started chanting “You deserve it.”
Red opened up about where he came from and just how unlikely this entire journey once seemed.
“I was just a small Spanish kid from Brooklyn trying to chase my dream.”
Red thanked TNA for putting his name on the map and talked about how much it meant to people from his neighborhood when they saw him on television and eventually saw him get his own action figure.
He also thanked a long list of people who helped him along the way, including Don West, Jerry Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett, Chris Divine and Brian XL. Red also gave his wife, children and family their flowers before turning his attention to the fans who helped turn the X-Division into one of TNA’s biggest calling cards. Then came the bombshell.
Red announced that he is officially the seventh entrant in the X-Division Championship match later tonight at TNA Bound For Glory on October 11, 2026. That means the Hall of Fame ceremony wasn’t the end of Red’s night — not even close.
TNA President Carlos Silva then presented Amazing Red with his Hall of Fame plaque, putting the official stamp on one of the biggest moments of his career.
Amazing Red came to Tampa to get honored for what he did in the past, but he made it clear he isn’t interested in simply sitting around and reminiscing. The X-Division pioneer is stepping right back into the fight, and now his Hall of Fame night could end with championship gold around his waist.
