Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley decided to get into the Halloween spirit, and they went straight for a comedy classic. The WWE stars recreated one of the most memorable moments from Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story — and somebody behind the camera ended up taking the hit.

Bliss took to Instagram and uploaded a video of herself alongside Paxley, with both women dressed up as characters from the 2004 comedy. Paxley even had a dodgeball in her hands, so it didn’t take long to figure out where this was going. Paxley then mouthed the movie’s iconic line:

“If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.”

And then she put that advice to the test. Paxley immediately launched the dodgeball straight at the cameraman. The ball connected, and the person filming went crashing down as Bliss and Paxley completed their recreation.

The original scene comes from Dodgeball, where Patches O’Houlihan takes Average Joe’s training to a completely ridiculous level. Instead of letting the team practice with normal dodgeballs, Patches starts chucking wrenches at them while delivering the now-famous line.

Bliss and Paxley obviously went with the much safer version by sticking with an actual dodgeball, although the cameraman still ended up paying for the joke. With Halloween here, the two WWE stars found a pretty fitting way to show off their costumes while recreating a scene wrestling fans who grew up with the movie probably know immediately.
